Just Let Me Be

Don't grieve when I'm gone,
I'm a dream. I'll live beyond.

I'm the wind that echo's through the trees.
I'm the gentle morning breeze.
I'm the dew of the morning dreams.
I'm the bud blooming in lush fields.

I'm the melody of your song.
I'm the sky, the limitless form.
I'm the warm sunshine filtering through crop.
I'm the tune on your lips, dancing along.

Don't grieve when I'm gone,
I'm a dream. I'll live beyond.

Just set me free.
Don't kill my spirit, don't steal my song.
Just let me be and I won't be gone for long!

Baby

Your sparkling, moist eyes are the world's most beautiful thing.
I wish I could fill them with wonderful stories and fairy-tale dreams.
Please can I fill them with a zoo of amazing things?

What do you stare at?
A dark ceiling of nothingness?
Figures of hatred  swarm around you - Spirits trapped in chaos.
You close your eyes and go back to sleep again.

Open your eyes to the starry night.
I'll rock you in a crib and love your gurgling smiles!
I'll cuddle you honey and sing you rhymes beyond time.

Wriggle your hands,
Wriggle free of all bindings!
You are the one born to be you...
Freedom is in your palms...
Welcome life into your arms!

Morning Glory

The creeper of passion grew,
Waking the mind of the artist...
That morning the purple blue bloomed...
In the sketches of His imagination he drew!

Now and Then

I burnt them all, old letters in a wastebasket.
From them reeked the smell of sorrow,
From them there was no hope of a brighter tomorrow.
It is a mystery, how my mind dies and takes birth again...
I wonder now and then.

Trapped in birth,
The present seems like a curse,
With no past and no present to bury into.
Swinging like a pendulum, my mind travels the sands of time, never dizzy...
I wonder now and then.

Where is the full stop.
A dot that begins where all ends,
So now I set old papers on flame...
Hope may not rise, may never be mine again.
At least, my name will stay in scars and black edges.
Flutter by on an eerie night on burnt letters.
Someone will catch a piece,
Someone passing by will place wonder in me....

Someone to whom my destiny,
Is a funny tragedy,
To be remembered every now and then.

The Candle

Standing in a pool of light,
Cast by her own dreams divine,
The Candle stands and shines.

The wind moves, the earth turns,
Sneaking from the window, the breeze returns...
Yet the candle burns.

Once young she romanced the flame,
Now old, she misses the game.
The flame is dying in distress.

"Candle glow, let me grow"
Let's not flicker, let us sizzle...
Through the night, make love to me...
I'm dying!

Hurt and Chocolate

When you are hurt, treat yourself with a nice chocolate. That is because, it is bitter and sweet at the same time. Solid and melting at the same time. And a hidden raisin suddenly comes as a surprise. Just like the blow that struck you suddenly.

(P.S Injury is physical, Hurt is mental, I'm talking about hurt so do not confuse.)

Mirror Mirror on the wall...

Fascinated by your honesty I stand. Looking through my own little heart, bitten into two, often, sewn into one. When I come closer to you, why do you blur. Or is it me, shying away from my own in-capacities?

Devilish me, you see through don't you? Indulge into my deepest darkest secrets and laugh a shrill laugh! Take a high from the heaviness in my throat, the voices I have choked. Throttled, like a bottle with a cork stuck. It is only your symmetry that I fail to decipher. Turn as the images in you do. Each glimpsing into more identity. What will you do to a corpse? Perhaps, take it all along its journey. Not in frames or flashes but in glimpses so many. Teenage pimple-pitted faces, self-realizing and exploitative young women. Bitches of the dark, they are safe from you. It's those shiny personas you spit gleam at. I'm not saying I'm shiny. I'm saying spit your gleam on me. Turn and twist like I do. Slithering in dreams like a snake in pain. Whimpering, losing to sorrow, deepening. Invite me in and I'll know your sins. I've chased perfectionism long enough. Making no one proud. No allies. No companion. No not many. My fallen, charred feathers won't lift any spirit anymore. With holes in them, the courageous sunlit-air will wham through.

I'll faint to the ground in front of you. Back to you. Back to me.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall...I want to leave the world in front of you. Grace peace.
Corpse staring at a spirit alive! Me, show me my life. Show me how I stood struggling inside the womb, outside, waging.

Show me, I'm waiting...Making no one proud. No allies. No companion. No not many.
